Rosie arrived at Wildlife Images after being found in a flower pot as a tiny baby. When she was brought in, she weighed just 73 grams, and our staff was unsure if she would survive.

Our veterinarian took her home to give her round-the-clock care until she was large enough to survive. Rosie is very sociable and enjoys taking walks on her harness with a handler.

Because opossums are considered invasive species in Oregon, Wildlife Images had to receive special permission to keep her as an educational ambassador.
