Rosie arrived at Wildlife Images after being found in a flower pot as a tiny baby. When she was brought in, she weighed just 73 grams, and our staff was unsure if she would survive.

Our veterinarian took her home to give her round-the-clock care until she was large enough to survive. Because opossums are considered invasive species in Oregon, Wildlife Images had to receive special permission to keep her as an educational ambassador.
