There’s an extra buzz in the air at Wildlife Images these days.
Our observational bee hive, maintained by local beekeeper Mike Miller, has been reinstalled in our Eagle Flight exhibit. Other local bees have been hard at work this spring pollinating all of the wonderful flowers that have been planted by groundskeeper Shari and her team, but this bee hive gives visitors a chance to peek the behind the curtain. You can look at the inner workings of a bee colony, and learn more about why bees are critical to the health of wildlife of all sizes.
