We’ll be in the parking lot outside Big Lots on the Grants Pass Parkway on Sept. 3 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
While there, you can learn about the purposes for each kind of enrichment that we offer animals, and about how you can help us with our enrichment.
What is enrichment? Enrichment is goal-based activity that uses items to challenge our animals and allow them to use species-specific behaviors. An example of this is during our Cougar Catering tour, Brady is given the opportunity to use his natural hunting skills to find his snack hidden in his enclosure.
