Do you have the skills to help create a solid foundation for our wild patients?
We are looking for local folks with concrete finishing skills and tools.
During the winter season there is a lot that gets done behind the scenes at Wildlife Images. We are preparing to move our rehabilitation space to a more private and secluded part of the park. It will include new, multi-functional, secure rehabilitation enclosures for all kinds of patients from foxes to hummingbirds. However, before we build the new structures we need a solid foundation.
Volunteers will work directly with our staff on two 22 x 30 concrete pads that will provide a sturdy enclosure from the ground up! Pads will be formed and concrete will be pumped we just need help with the finishing… aka making it pretty!
Why is this so important? Having a concrete base provides for easy cleaning and sanitation, stable foundation for new rehabilitation enclosures and ensure a safe and secure place for animals to recover.
