Keepers Keep it Real!

Happy National Zookeeper Week to the incredible keeper staff at Wildlife Images!

We are celebrating with some of our favorite photos of our our staff doing what they do best!

We have some of the most dedicated, talented and caring keepers on our staff! We are so grateful for their commitment to providing the highest quality of care for the Animal Ambassadors and wild patients!  Zookeepers have chosen a profession that is physically demanding, emotionally draining, smelly, messy, with irregular hours, little recognition, and one that is regularly attacked by people who do not understand the incredible role they play in conservation. Zookeepers are passionate about protecting wildlife and wild places. Did you know that our Wildlife Clinic staff provides all the medical care for our Animal Ambassadors? In the off season they also work on training and husbandry duties as our patient load drops dramatically.

At Wildlife Images the keepers contribute to wildlife awareness, educational programs, even scientific research all while delivering diets, medication, and enrichment; conducting trainings and health checks, and scooping a lot of poop – with a sense of humor!
