This year, with the official Steve Irwin Day on a Monday, we at Wildlife Images expanded the celebration to a three-day weekend. You came out in force to help us show our appreciation for the original Wildlife Warrior.
We had more than 400 people come through our gates, and you donated nearly 1,700 pounds of dog food as your entry fee!
We unveiled the new Irwin Family Wall inside the Rotary Pavilion and we announced the arrival of our newest animal ambassador: Jedi the Fence Lizard! Additionally, we also filled the pavilion with hundreds of bio-artifacts to help us tell the story of the importance of Saving Wildlife!
For our Steve Irwin Raffle, we raised more than $500 to help us continue our mission. Thanks to everyone who came out and supported us!
The Irwin Family has been so generous to us over the years, we can’t thank them enough for the love and support they’ve shown. This wall is just a small sign of our appreciation for the special relationship we’ve developed over the years. Without them and without our local support, much of what we do at Wildlife Images couldn’t be possible.
