Pumpkin spice isn’t just for people! Save those pumpkins, gourds and squashes and donate them to the Animal Ambassadors. Some chew on the pumpkins… some make cuddly nests inside… some love to squash them and eat the guts! No matter what the style, our animals love their special pumpkin enrichment.
Whole pumpkins, squashes and gourds are ideal but we can also take recently carved pumpkins. Just make sure your Jack-o-lantern (or other masterpiece) is not soft, showing molding, treated with bleach, painted, or contains any wax residue from a candle.
Donated pumpkins can be dropped off at our gift shop any day from 9:00 – 4:00 PM.
