At Wildlife Images, we are getting ready to kick off our third quarter of our Wolf Pack Program. This program is designed to provide local teens with an opportunity to grow and share their knowledge of wildlife working as a Junior Keeper in our park. This program is designed for 12-17-year-olds who have an interest in wildlife.
The upcoming quarter covers 10 sessions from March-May (our quarter system roughly follows the quarter system used by local public schools), and run from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on selected Saturdays and Sundays. Participants are not required to attend all 10 sessions.
Each Wolf Pack session will include a lesson and STEAM based learning opportunities as well as a chance to get hands-on experience in a variety of animal care areas, including animal husbandry, training, diets, handling, and more! Pack members will work alongside experienced staff and volunteers to learn about our resident animal ambassadors and will assist in interpreting and presenting this knowledge to the public. Wolf Pack members may also play an integral role in our Camp EEK! program, assisting in the classroom by leading activities, playing games, and helping campers with crafts and lessons.
This program is particularly applicable and beneficial to area youth who are interested in pursuing a career with animals, as they will gain valuable knowledge and experience as a Wolf Pack member. For those on the older end of the age range, this program allows to get more training and a broader opportunity to get involved at Wildlife Images.
We require participants sign up for an entire quarter, because it is a progressive program. We build on the skills taught in previous sessions to help show a greater picture of what it’s like to be a wildlife keeper.
As participants grow in their skill-sets, they will also progress to different animals.

The cost of a quarter is $500, but those who qualify for a scholarship will get the 10 sessions for just $170!
