Don’t let the learning stop just because school is out! Enroll your kids in Spring Break Camp EEK! Our seasoned educators and Animal Care Specialists allow campers to go WILD for the week as they hang out with Animal Ambassadors, play games, make cool crafts and explore the outdoors. Camp EEK! at Wildlife Images provides a safe and engaging place for kids to experience hands-on learning centered on wildlife, nature, and conservation. There is limited space available so enroll your kids today! We welcome kids ages 7 to 12. Camp is Monday through Friday of spring break from 9:00 to 3:00. Transportation is not available during Sring Break Camp EEK!
Monday – Guess Whooooo!?!
This day is all about AMAZING owls! One of our all-time favorite animals takes the center spotlight. Kids learn not only about the 5 species who call Wildlife Images home but also about stunning facts that make owls such excellent hunters!
Tuesday – Critter Kitchen
Head into Wildlife Images’ kitchen to put together the meals for our Animal Ambassadors. Campers learn about the animals’ diets in the wild and help cook up some extra special treats.
Wednesday – Wild Animal Hospital
Dressing up in masks, gowns, gloves, and stethoscopes is only half the fun! Kids will pair up with a fellow “wildlife doctor” to diagnose and heal their patient. Campers learn about the risks we as humans can pose to our wild neighbors.
Thursday – Animal House Party
Campers take control of one of the Animal Ambassadors’ homes! With the help of Animal Care Specialists, kids get to go into one of the enclosures and remodel. They get to decide what enrichment activities the ambassador gets and help place fresh materials to make the space new and exciting. Then the kids get to watch as the ambassador explores (and sometimes tears apart) their new space.
Friday – Outdoor Adventure
We go wild in the great outdoors of Wildlife Images’ 24-acre property! Campers learn about tracking animals, how some animals can hide in plain sight, and how nature can provide for almost every need.
