Check out these two critters who arrived at our clinic this week!
This common poorwill is rarely seen by people. It comes out at night and it’s incredible camouflage helps it hide during the day. Since these guys are migratory we’ll be getting his weight up as fast as possible so he can be on his way.
This Douglas squirrel is a far less common patient than our typical gray squirrels. He is an extremely late season baby and is showing some signs of neurological damage so we are monitoring him closely. Despite some concerns, he is a voracious eater and growing fast.
