Walk on the Wild Side – Keep Critters Out of Your Home

In this episode of Walk on the Wild Side Dave shares tips to keep critters from sneaking into your home this Spring. Squirrels, skunks, birds, and other small animals are looking for good spots to nest this time of year. A common entrance is the vents near the foundation. Often, screens are damaged and animals can squeeze in. As Dave explains a good way to deter this is by soaking a rag or sponge in ammonia and put it into a plastic container with holes. Animals typically won’t stay around if a place smells like ammonia. It’s also the time of year to make sure critters haven’t nested inside of brush piles. Many people forget to check for animals before lighting last year’s burn piles.
