Weather looks great for Howl-O-Ween

We are entering the final weekend of our spooky Howl-O-Ween event!

The weather forecast, per the National Weather Service, is 65 degrees and sunny. You can’t ask for better weather to come out into a safe trick-or-treat environment where you can meet some of our Ambassador Animals. Last week, our owls made an appearance, as did our turkey vulture and a wolf. You never know who might pop out this weekend.

Make sure to come out for a great time as we have carnival-style booths all along Critter Creek, a photo contest sponsored by Motel Del Rogue and specialized keeper talks — e.g. Creepy Crawlies, Werewolves, Finding Bigfoot, and more! The winner of our phot contest wins a family membership for a year!

At our gift shop in the Rotary Pavilion, check out the kettle corn from Bear Kountry Kettle Korn, as well a caramel apples. It wouldn’t be Halloween without a few sweets, right?

We also have Righteous ‘Ritos with all-natural burritos made with pasture-raised meats, house-made salsas and pickled veggies, and preservative-free tortillas. Click on the menu for a closer look at the options.
