Wildlife Images relaunches Outreach program

After nearly two years, Wildlife Images is once again offering outreach education, and this week we kicked off with our Education Manager Krista making a trip to Cascades of Grants Pass Senior Living Center with Buddy, our beloved Great Horned Owl.

While COVID-19 put a halt to most of these kinds of activities in early 2020, that pause gave us a chance to restructure our Outreach to better help our community. Many people assume these kinds of programs are designed for school-aged children, but we have Outreach opportunities for all ages. These experiences are a valuable as we educate the public on wildlife, not just in Southern Oregon, and the need to Save Wildlife.

We currently offer three focuses for our Outreach:

Birds of a Feather

A look at the power and beauty of birds of prey and how they are adapted to their environment.

Pacific Northwest Natives

From eagles and wolves to skunks and squirrels, these animals share the world in which we live. Find out why they are critical to the area.

Slither and Slide

We have a variety of reptile friends for you to learn what makes them extraordinary animals and why there’s no need to fear them.

Keep an eye out, as we plan to expand our offerings in the coming months.
