Niles

Orphaned as an egg in a brush fire and hatched in his rescuer’s home, Niles became
too imprinted on humans to be released. He was transferred to us from a center in
Anchorage, Alaska. In the summer, he can be seen doing his courting dance where he
flaps his wings and jumps up and down, then picks up sticks and needles that he offers to staff and volunteers, and sometimes even guests.
