Rubberta came to Wildlife Images’ education program in November 2022. She was
gifted to us by a teacher in Bend, Oregon who had previously kept her for classroom
education. Rubberta loves to hide under leaves or substrate and “periscope” her head
up to see her surroundings. She is a wonderful educational ambassador for native
snakes in Oregon.
