Camp EEK! offers a series of engaging week-long sessions for ages 5 – 11 each tailored to spark curiosity, empathy, and a deep respect for nature among young campers. Camp EEK! is held Monday thru Friday 9am until 3pm. Camps are $275 / session for non-members and $200 / session for members (become a member today).
Here’s a glimpse into our summer:
June 17th – 21st “Introduction to Wildlife Rehabilitation”
Through engaging activities and interactive learning experiences, campers will jump into the world of caring for injured animals and understanding the importance of wildlife conservation. Led by experienced staff and wildlife experts, participants will learn about habitats, animal behaviors, and the rehabilitation process in a fun and hands-on environment. This camp aims to inspire a love for nature, foster empathy towards wildlife, and educate young minds on the significance of respecting and protecting our natural world.
June 24th -28th “Guardians of the Habitat”
Set off on an amazing adventure where each move you make gets you one step nearer to being a protector of our planet’s special environments. At Wildlife Images, you’ll find a camp that mixes fun, education, and getting your hands dirty to help you strive to save the environment. Our knowledgeable nature lovers and teachers will lead you through fun lessons and activities where you’ll learn how nature stays in balance, why different kinds of plants and animals are crucial, and what everyone can do to save our planet for the people that come after us.
July 8th -12th “Raptor Revelations: Discovering the World of Birds of Prey,”
Get ready to dive into the world of majestic raptors and embark on an unforgettable journey of discovery and conservation. From up-close encounters with rehabilitated birds of prey to hands-on activities that shed light on their importance in the ecosystem.
July 15th-19th “Pollinators and Garden Exploration”
Embark on a journey to discover the vital role of pollinators in our ecosystem and the wonders of gardening. Through a series of hands-on activities, nature walks, and interactive workshops, campers will learn about different pollinators such as bees, butterflies, and birds, and their impact on plant life. This week will spark curiosity, inspire environmental stewardship, and nurture a sense of appreciation for pollinators, the interconnectedness of plants and humans. Campers will leave with a newfound love for nature, a deeper understanding of pollination, and the skills to cultivate their green thumbs in their own gardens.
July 22nd-26th “Nighttime Navigators: The World of Creatures After Dark”
Dive into the fascinating world of creatures that come alive when the sun sets, from elusive owls and bats to stealthy raccoons and resourceful opossums. Through engaging activities, and wildlife observation, you will unlock the secrets of these creatures after dark.
July 29th – August 2nd “Wolf Chronicles: Unraveling the Mysteries of Canis Lupus”
Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of wolves! Learn all about how they live, act, why they are important and why we need to protect them. Get up close with our ambassadors, deepen your understanding, foster empathy, and help others know why we should look after these special animals.
August 5th – 9th “Nature Exploration and Photography”
Get ready to explore the outdoors and learn how to take amazing pictures of nature. Our friendly guides will show you how to capture the beauty of plants, animals, and landscapes through fun photography lessons. You’ll have a blast as you discover the secrets of nature and snap your own cool photos to keep as memories. See the world through a new lens and unlock your inner photographer in a week filled with adventure, creativity, and lots of nature fun!
August 12th – 16th “Wildlife Conservation and Rehabilitation”
Jump into the incredible world of wildlife as we explore the vital work of conservation and rehabilitation. Join us for a week of adventure where you’ll not only discover the wonders of wildlife but also learn hands-on skills caring for injured animals. With expert guidance, activities, and interactive sessions, you’ll understand the importance of caring for nature, helping injured creatures, and preserving our environment.
