Walter came to Wildlife Images from Cascade Raptor Center in Lane County, OR, where he was turned in after walking into a family’s home in nearby Eugene. He was found to be too human imprinted to be released into the wild. It is suspected that he was cared for by humans when he was young. Walter likes to keep his keepers company as they work by perching on their shoulder, and has a few human phrases he can repeat. You can identify our two crows by their distinct behaviors.
