Yalanji (“Yah-lan-jee”) came to WIldlife Images when he was around 8 months old,
from the Cougar Mountain Zoo in Issaquah, Washington. His name comes from the
aboriginal people of the Daintree forest in upper Australia where the swamps can be
found. He is a wonderful educational ambassador for his species, and helps us educate the public about a species not typically seen in the United States
