Successful Release of a Great Horned Owl

This success story was made possible, because helpful humans knew to bring this owl to professional rehabbers!

It wasn’t too long ago when we took in a great horned owl that was rescued after being entangled in an electric fence for eight hours.

Thankfully, the people who rescued the bird knew to turn to professional rehabbers for help. They brought the injured owl to Wildlife Images, and we were able to provide the medical care needed in a timely manner.

As a result, the owl recovered quickly!

It was such a joy to see this majestic creature fly off after a speedy rehabilitation.

You can watch for yourself in the video below, and we included the original story, in case haven’t seen it.

Professional rehabbers are here to help

If you see a wild animal in need, please call a wildlife rehabber for help! Please help us spread the word. Many animals have been injured when well-meaning humans provide at-home rehab care. Education is the key to ensure all animals get the help that is available to them. Thanks for your support!
