Although the heat wave last week was no party, we did have some fun helping our animal friends cool off by giving them ice treats!

The animal care team did an amazing job capturing these moments on video clips. Our clever animal care team member, Weslee, coined the term “Ice Treat Chronicles” for this series, and it stuck!

We don’t want anyone to miss out on the joy of seeing our animal ambassadors cool off with their ice treats, so we created a compilation video.

☀️ The bobcats tend to give their ice blocks the cold shoulder before enjoying them.

☀️ Our sweet gray fox, Cheveyo, likes ice treats with nutritious fruit surprises inside.

☀️ The wolves love to take their sweet time licking flat blocks of ice.

☀️ The hawks like to attack the ice treats and stand on them to cool off.
